 Holiday flat overlooking Balmoral Beach, Sydney Are you visiting Sydney for work or a holiday? Stay in a sunny, fully equipped holiday apartment, nestled in a corner of paradise, overlooking Balmoral Beach that is just a five minute walk away... We offer self-contained accommodation which consists of a large lounge room, a bedroom with twin extra long beds (that can be locked together as a king-size bed), a large bathroom with spa bath, shower etc, a separate fully equipped kitchen, and a laundry. In the lounge, in addition to sofa and chairs, there’s a single sofa/bed. If needed there are two extra folding beds available. There are radios, a TV, video, stereo, telephone, Wireless Internet (802.11b MAC & PC compatible), a library of books, all linen, towels, cooking and eating utensils. It’s a very comfortable home away from home! The flat opens onto a lawn and garden with BBQ and outdoor eating facilities, deck chairs etc. It faces the sun and enjoys panoramic views of Middle Harbour and Balmoral Beach, which are only a five-minute walk away. Trees and birds abound in this magical spot, yet it is only 15 minutes to the heart of the city. Manly Beach is also 15 minutes north, which is the first of 30km of ocean surf beaches. Public transport is handy and includes the famous Sydney Harbour ferries - the best way in the world to travel! The flat is close to Toronga zoo as well as the excellent shopping and restaurants of Mosman. Apartment The apartment is a spacious four room area, with large living room, bedroom, kitchen, spa bathroom (and laundry). Outside there is a patio, barbecue and lawn. Some steps take you down to either a bush track or a road down to the beach. Kitchen The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, refrigerator and freezer, sink, oven/grill, pots and pans, crockery, cutlery and a table and chairs. A great place for breakfast and snacks. Why not eat lunch outside on the patio or lawn? Use the barbecue for dinner or visit one of the excellent restaurants at the beach. Living Space The spacious living room has a sofa and armchairs, a TV, stereo, a single couch bed, and a telephone (naturally, you pay for your calls). There is a wide selection of books for you to read while relaxing there or in the garden, or alternatively, you can just sit and watch the boats and windsurfers sail up and down. Being at the coast and on the harbour the climate of the apartment is generally ideal but, for your comfort in the cooler seasons, there are gas and electric heaters and if by chance you should feel the heat in the summer, there are fans. Bedroom The bed can be either King size or two extra-long singles. A wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables are available for when you unpack. There is a clock radio and reading lamps and two folding beds (suitable for children). Outside the bedroom is a large cupboard with more hanging and shelf space plus a plentiful supply of bed linen, blankets, doonas, towels, beach towels and an iron and ironing board, plus storage for your suitcases. Bathroom There is a triangular Spa in the bathroom plus a shower and the other usual fittings and storage. Garden The apartment has a tranquil garden setting overlooking and close to the bush of the Sydney Harbour National Park. There is a barbecue and table and chairs for entertaining your relatives and friends. There are deck chairs and a rug to relax on the lawn. Laundry The laundry is situated near the kitchen. The facilities provided are a deep sink, large capacity washer, a tumble dryer, an internal and external washing line. Transport Buses and ferries take you to and from the city (20mins), Taronga Park Zoo (5mins), Manly and the Northern Beaches of greater Sydney.
