A panorama of peace and privacy, the Country Caboose Manor is nestled on a hill top Shangri-la overlooking a vista of 100 acres awaiting your exploration.

Benches are scattered here and there for private moments as you stroll together and share your dreams.

Our 1927 railway caboose has been fully renovated to create the Caboose Suite, a world all your own. Protected by the sheltering limbs of the weeping willow, the deck and patio extend your privacy for a relaxing interlude where you can forget your day to day cares and enjoy the peace that surrounds you.

The Country Caboose has everything you need to while away the hours. The bed-sitting room has a double bed coil-spring mattress on the futon that’s a couch by day and full comfort at night.

Curl up in an afghan and read by the flickering flames of the fire in the wood stove. The Caboose suite is outfitted with pocket books that you can take home with you if you don’t finish before you leave. Magazines, cards, board games, soft music on tape and when you want to watch TV, choose from over 130 channels we receive by satellite.

The Caboose is stocked for breakfast and snacks. Choose from fresh fruit, bagels, jams, cream cheeses, peanut butter, honey, muffins, pastries, granola bars, a selection of dry cereals and instant oatmeal, juice, coffee, soft drinks, hot chocolate, flavourful teas, chips, popcorn and other treats.

  • Meditate by the fountain,
  • Curl up with a book from the mezzanine library,
  • Sit awhile and contemplate nature, play a game of chess, or watch the birds from the Manor solarium.

  • Pamper yourself with a refreshing dip in the Manor salt water lap pool.
  • Warm your body, sooth your muscles in the massaging hot tub.
  • Play a game of snooker in the Games Room.
