Started in 1948 by the late Mr. Rupert Morris, Trinity Cabins became the first tourist cabins in Newfoundland. They very quickly grew into a well-loved, respected and popular tourist establishment. As the years passed by, Trinity Cabins expanded and grew with the times. It has catered to people from all parts of this beautiful province of Newfoundland, throughout Canada, United States and Europe.
In 1971, as the need for trailer accommodations arose, Mr. Morris added 12 serviced trailer sites to the increasingly popular Trinity Cabins.
In 1995, Coreine and Glen Johnson purchased Trinity Cabins. Coreine, being a 13-year employee of Trinity Cabins, knew the running of the business and has loved and appreciated each day she has worked there.

Our guests are people who are looking for clean, peaceful, family affordable accommodations.
Trinity Cabins has gained a lot of history in its nearly 60 years serving Trinity and you can still get the old time charm as you enter some of the cabins. We try and keep some of the history alive, for instance, the cabins still go by names such as Cosy, Dainty, Beauty, etc. not numbers.
Guests staying at Trinity Cabins are only a few minutes from the heart of Trinity, of which the Rising Tide Theatre's famous Trinity Pageant and Summer in the Bight Festival run all summer long. Trinity Bight also has many tourist attractions, craft stores and restaurants.
We are also located just a 45 minute drive from Bonavista and a 20 minute drive from the nearest golf course. There are whale watching tours, boat tours to abandoned settlements. Nature lovers will enjoy the many walking/hiking trails and the fantastic Historic Walking Tour of Trinity.
