Long Bay, Antigua
Long Bay started as a Hotel, very early on, being family run it became more like an Inn. With the addition of a plethora of services over the years, it developed into, the Small unique Caribbean Inn & Resort we are today.
The Public areas at Long Bay are especially generous. The Inn built in 1959, was, designed to service, 50 accommodations or 100 guests. Originally, only 20 rooms were built, due to initial budget constraints, this special trait, offers current guests the luxury of SPACE lovely SPACE. After the Lafaurie family purchased the property in 1966 it was decided that the extra space provided in all the public areas was an asset, so they have kept the numbers of guests catered to, small, on purpose. The thought was and is, how many 25 room resorts offer two of almost every amenity, including, two water fronts, full water sports, Tennis, along with a full library and games room? We think very few !!!
