We were in Gros Morne for two days. The first day we had off and on light rain. The second day was nice.

The first 16 photos are of the Tablelands area in the rain with snow in August. It was here that geologists discovered proof that the continents drift. Rocks usually found only deep within the earth's mantle are exposed at the Tablelands, a mesa-like formation forced to the surface by tectonic pressures. Then we show only a few photos of the area and will do a more detailed look at our boat tour into Western Brook Pond
