A private jungle home where nature, privacy, unspoiled beaches, and beauty abound.On Costa Rica's most Southern Pacific Coast See Costa Rica as it is truly meant to be seen! Accommodation Details This is a wonderful, simple open air tropical house 250 feet above the beach with 6 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, well equipped kitchen and a huge living area. Each bedroom is screened-in, and there are four double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms. Two double bedrooms on the ground level and ocean and a beautiful full bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and shower is a luxurious surprise. On the first floor there are two master double bedrooms with doors opening onto the spacious verandah and fantastic views across the ocean, two twin bedrooms and another excellent shower room on the first floor. The house was originally constructed in the 1970?s and is a raised wooden structure with sloping overhung roof to deal with the tropical rains. Beautiful wooden floors throughout and traditional, comfortable country furniture. The front of the house has views across the magnificent ocean to the Osa Peninsula and other parts look directly into the surrounding jungle giving an atmosphere of close affinity with nature. A fresh water spring provides drinking water, solar and generator powered electricity provide plenty of hot water and fans are available if needed. There is a wonderful House Book written by the owners which provides a great deal of very useful information on Costa Rica, the property and surrounding region. Cell and mobile phones can be used about one mile down the beach from the property. A fresh water spring coming directly from the property makes drinking water safe and delicious. Solar and generator powered electricity, hot water showers, and fans are provided. Housekeeper/Cook - We have a wonderful woman you can hire clean and cook for you. She arrives each morning and leaves before dark. She will clean the floors daily, make beds, wash clothes, prepare meals and almost anything else you ask. She is well worth the money and will make your trip much more enjoyable. She is very unobtrusive and pleasant. Caretaker - We have a caretaker who lives on the property. He is a wonderfully talented and very accommodating young man. Everyone who comes to Casa Punta Banco loves him. He is great with children and can accompany you through the forest or to the orchards.
