Pascoso, the village
The houses are nestled in a small mountain town called Pascoso, in the Apuane Park, 2,231 feet above sea level. Pascoso, in the Tuscan province of Lucca, has just under 100 inhabitants and is so small, with such narrow stone roads, that cars enter town along a short strip of the main road only. Nearly all the houses in town are built in stone, including their rooftops, and the smooth stones of the streets were laid hundreds of years ago. Not far from village(a 10- to 15-minute walk or 5-minute drive) is a charming little church on a tiny piazza, shaded in the summer by age-old trees. However, Pascoso is not far from the “cities of arts” of Tuscany: Lucca, Pisa, Florence and Siena are 15, 30, 60, and 95 miles away. And Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio, which are among the most famous Italian beaches, are only 30 miles far (approximately 45 minutes of driving !).
In Pascoso we have two houses
Casa Marta and Casa O Both houses are 18th-century fully restored stone farmhouses, spanning roughly 110 square meters, are fully equipped with all new or antiques pieces. Internet connection and computer are available at our main office.
Casa Marta suitable for 6
In short, Casa Marta is made of 1 kitchen/living room, 2 bedrooms (1 queen-bed room and 1room with two double beds), 2 bathroom (1 complete, and the other with wc, sink and bidet), and 2 pantries. We have installed a central heating system. And, naturally, a working fireplace adorns the second floor as what farmhouse would be complete without one!
Casa O suitable for 5
Is made up of: 1 large kitchen with fireplace, 1 living room (with a sofa bed), 2 bedrooms (1 queen-bed room and 1 twin-bed room), 1 bathroom (shower), and 1 laundry (pantry) room. From the patio, you can go to the private garden (approximately 100 square meters), where there are a table, chairs, sun-umbrella, and BBQ.
