Come and learn to drive a dog team!
Guided Adventures on the beautiful Bruce Peninsula.
All sleds are accompanied by one of our experienced mushers.
Dog sledding is a thrilling and yet peaceful way to enjoy the outdoors. The excitement of the dogs is contagious. Come and experience the winter rush.
We started in 1997 with four Eskimo sled dogs and since then have been very active in dog sledding. Winter 2000-2001 was the first year that we offered dog sledding to the public on a commercial basis and with twelve huskies we took more than 60 groups of guests sledding.
We currently have over 25 sled dogs and are now able to offer full weekend tours. Accommodations for our over night guests are available in one of our rustic log cabins.
Dog Sledding is an inter-active adventure and sport. There is a level of fitness and agility required. We will teach you the skills and techniques needed to become a competent driver. Also, we will teach you to harness dogs, drive the sleds, and help with starting and tending a winter campfire, checking paws and equipment on your adventure. We encourage our guests to participate as much as possible. Although no prior experience is necessary or expected your dog sledding experience will be enhanced by the level of enthusiasm and effort that you bring to your adventure.
All tours will be accompanied by an experienced "musher" who will be your guide and ensure your comfort and safety.
Recent winter weather conditions have proven extremely unreliable and we can not guarantee pristine snow conditions or consistent temperatures. Singing Dogs has had to adapt to run in any and all circumstances. The dogs and the guests enjoy the varied trail and weather factors that make this a truly unique and personal dog sledding experience. It is highly unlikely that your tour will be cancelled due to weather or lack of weather.
We are a small, family owned and operated business offering top quality service.
We also offer all season rustic cabins.
